This is a breif run down of trial and error methods to quickly leveling. Preferrably you would have a mega high sorceress doing any neccessary teleporting, and then mass orbing everything to death. Starting out, the noobie days Levels 1 through 15. act1 - tristram (requirements: rescued cain. only if you are creator of the game otherwise no requirements) Levels 15 through 20. act2 - tal rasha's tombs levels 20 through 24. act1 - cow level (requirements: kill baal, only if you are creating, otherwise no requirements) (Dave's Note: You can't create if you killed the king cow in a previous game) levels 24 to 25 act5 ancients levels 25 through 40 are act5 baal I dont have concrete numbers for nightmare yet. ill followup on this later. Notes: dont count PER KILL exp with a high level in your group, it will be lower than average. the rush is because that level 80 sorceress can kill 30+ mobs for every 1 you would kill. Cow king info You only get credit for killing the King if you are in the Moo Moo Farm - partied or not - and someone kills the King who has never done so before. This means if you've killed the King before - you are free to kill him over and over with no ill effects to the other people in the Farm. Don't try telling people on b.net this, however. They = stupid, and won't believe you.

It appears this HAS changed. wootage_ii lost the ability to make hell cow games when partied with someone who claimed to have killed the king before. Either he was lying, or this has changed.

...You don't need powerleveling for Diablo II. Bloody runs, Worldstone Keep and the cow level are there.
