Anybody like the idea of both personal, private, and public blogs?

I think it adds to the potential userbase. Blogs are pretty big and a lot of people like to do stuff like that. I am all for it.

Blogs are outstanding, if they are kept current, I dslike the ones that people post in like 6 times a year, or get scared and delete them much like tomx.

i have had one for a long time and it is fascinating to read a year ago about what a tool i was at that moment in time

A logical extention of forums, where I can read about what a tool you were four and a half hours ago. :D

If people are actually interested in them, I say they are a good thing for the forum. I personally have one I keep offsite though. However, I have seen it done on larger forums and they seem to be rather sucessful. Especially if you have a community of friends here that want to know about your life or whatever.

However, if no one uses them... it is probably just a waste of time. I would probably take a poll of how many people you think will actually use them before installing a hack like that.

Basically, people who care about what you're writing about, as opposed to, say, LiveJournal? :D

I'm all for blogs, I think they could add greatly to the community and should they roll out... I'd be happy to start a computer security one - sharing all the latest news and my thoughts/ramblings regarding.
