I will post this here since it kind of has to deal with movies.
As some of you know I was building my own LCD projector. Well, tonight I finished it and here are the preliminary results.

The projection is around 75", I have limited wall space, but the average size of these is 110". I'm projectioning up against a white wall so that is why the colors look drained. Also don't be fooled by the lousy camera work. The camera I was using didn't have a low enough shutter setting so it didn't pick up the light too well. These shots were taken from regular cable TV. The first pic is whatever was on ESPN at the time and the second is a geico commercial. I will try to get some better pics with a tripod later on in the day when I hook up thee xbox and DVD.
