The PureVanity.net Community supports avatar images linked to your profile. These images must be hosted on a website. If you have web space, you can place your desired avatar in your own web space, and link your profile to that.

When a forum user views a message you posted, this image will be downloaded from your web site, and displayed next to your forum posts. Requesting an avatar addition is only needed if you do not have web space.

Please Note: If your linked avatar is not on an always-connected web server, or is unavailable for lengthy periods of time, it is subject to removal from your profile. If the web server is not online, users of the PVNet Community will not be able to view your avatar, and it will slow load times of the forum pages. If this is your situation, please request us to host your image.

If you would like to place an image on our servers to use as your avatar image, all you need to do is email us the image.

You will need to include the following in your request email.

1) Your PVNet Community User Name.

2) Your Avatar image, no larger than 160 pixels wide, by 120 pixels tall, and smaller than 45kb in size. We perfer .png format, but .jpg, and .gif images are also okay. If your image is larger than 45kbytes in size, please send your request without the image attached, but be sure to specify the exact file size of the image you would like hosted. You can also include an HTTP link to your image rather than attaching it.

3) The subject line: PVNet Community Avatar Hosting Request

Submissions that do not meet the guidelines will not be processed.

Please submit your email to:
